Three Rhode Island firefighters were injured after two apparatus collided Monday night.
Warwick crews were responding to a house fire at about 8:30 p.m. when the collision happened, WPRI-TV reports. At the fire, firefighters pulled a man suffering severe burns from the burning house.
Around 10 minutes later, two apparatus were heading to the fire, and they crashed into each other. Three firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The department is investigating both the crash and the cause of the fire, WPRI added.
