Tennessee firefighters battled a large blaze that broke out at a group of townhouses early Thursday.
Knoxville crews responded to a call of a fire at the Colonial Park complex just after 6:30 a.m., WBIR-TV reports. The blaze started in an attic shared by 10 townhouses.
Firefighters reached the blaze by cutting a hole in the roof. The flames, however, quickly spread because the building didn't have fire breaks, something that wasn't required when the complex was built, according to WBIR.
No one was injured in the incident, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
