MD Firefighter Injured in Fall Through Floor During Blaze

A veteran Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company firefighter was taken to the University of Maryland's shock trauma center following a fall through the floor of a burning office building.

A Maryland firefighter was seriously injured after falling through a floor while battling a blaze early Saturday.

Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company crews responded to a fire at 2 a.m. at a Re/Max building in  Westminster, WBAL-TV reports. The building had been under construction with no one inside.

A 25-year veteran firefighter fell through a floor during the blaze. Details on the condition firefighter, who was taken to the University of Maryland's shock trauma center, were not immediately available.
