More than 80 Rochester firefighters responded to the residential building blaze, and its intensity, as well as outside conditions, presented challenges to crews.

More than 80 New York firefighters battled a three-alarm house blaze Tuesday.

The fire in Rochester broke out shortly before 10:30 a.m. in a residential building, WROC-TV reports. The blaze started in the building's roof and spread to nine units inside.

The fire's intensity, as well as outside conditions, created challenges for crews. No one was injured in the blaze, but fire officials told WROC they weren't sure if the building was too damaged to be salvageable.
