Video: Canadian Firefighters Injured in Massive House Blast

Raw video from the scene captured the burning home's explosion, which sent three Scugog firefighters to the hospital with "minor injuries," according to the township.

Three Canadian firefighters were injured following a massive home explosion Tuesday.

Firefighters responded to a house fire in Scugog, a township in Ontario, shortly after 10 a.m., DurhamRegion.com reports. As fire crews and police were assessing the scene, the burning house exploded.

Video from the scene shows a fireball erupting from the structure and sending emergency workers running. The explosion can be seen at the 0:30 mark.

Three Scugog firefighters were taken to the hospital for possible injuries. In a social media update, the township said the firefighters were "being assessed for what is believed to be minor injuries."

Officials believe the explosion was caused by propane and oxygen tanks, according to DurhamRegion.com. No one was home at the time of the fire and explosion.
