Nearly 60 Los Angeles firefighters extinguished a major commercial blaze early Wednesday.

Crews responded to a fire at a one-story concrete tilt-up building in downtown Los Angeles, the department said in an online update. The blaze escalated into a major emergency, and firefighters took a defensive mode.

Efforts were able to put out the flames in 70 minutes, according to the department. No injuries were reported, and the fire's cause is under investigation.
