Video: Burning Truck's Tire Explodes in Front of CA Firefighter

Raw video shows a Sacramento firefighter avoiding serious injury after a tire exploded while crews were trying to extinguish a pickup truck that caught fire near a city intersection.

A California firefighter escaped serious injury after a burning truck's tire exploded in front of him early Thursday.

A pickup truck caught fire at about 2:15 a.m. near an intersection in Sacramento, KOVR-TV reports. As a Sacramento firefighter was kneeling in front of the burning vehicle, the truck's tire exploded.

The firefighter was not seriously injured in the explosion, according t KOVR.
