A massive fire erupted at a South Korean high-rise late Thursday, with flames engulfing the 33-story building.
The blaze broke out at around 11 p.m. between the eighth and 12th floors of the Samhwan Art Nouveau commercial and residential building in Ulsan, the BBC reports. Hundreds escaped the flames, and 50 people were being treated for smoke inhalation.
Video of the fire shows flames spreading quickly up and down the exterior of the building. Debris also could be seen falling from the structure.
Firefighters faced strong winds, which made battling the blaze difficult. Crews also were searching the building for any people still trapped inside, according to the BBC.
