A driver survived a 70-foot plunge off of expressway exit ramp bridge in Milwaukee over the weekend.
The accident involving a red pickup happened just before 10 a.m. Saturday as the vehicle was traveling west on the Interstate 94 ramp to southbound Interstate 41, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. That's when the truck drove up a snowbank and then over the roadway wall before crashing onto the I-94 distress lane.
A Wisconsin Department of Transportation camera captured dramatic footage of the crash as the truck fell 70 feet, barely missing cars below. Passersby helped the driver, who was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries, according to the Journal Sentinel.
Details about the driver's condition were not released.
