Firefighters found heavy fire when they responded to a structure fire early Monday.
The building was vacant, according to a tweet from Denver Fire Department.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital for treatment of a minor injuries.
The cause of the fire in the building undergoing renovations is continuing.
