Aug. 17, 2022
Houston firefighters said all the residents escaped the burning building.

Five units in a Houston apartment building are uninhabitable following a fire early Wednesday.

All the residents were out when the first crews arrived about 1:45 a.m. A firefighter was transported to a hospital for dehydration, according to KPRC.

Fire officials said four units were damaged by the fire, while another suffered extensive water damage. There were no sprinklers in the building.

The cause remains under investigation.
