Blaze in Vacant Salt Lake City Building Threatens Apartments
Firefighters evacuated an apartment building as flames engulfed a large vacant building in Salt Lake City Saturday morning.
The vacant building, at 220 S 200 E., was engulfed as flames and forced firefighters to evacuate the adjacent Randi Apartments, officials told ABC4.com.
They evacuated 55 units in the building as they worked to protect the apartment building as parts of the vacant building collapsed.
