After falling through a floor at a house fire, a Milwaukee firefighter refused treatment and continued his work.
Milwaukee Chief Aaron Lipski said incident commanders had all firefighters evacuate after the lieutenant fell and requested a second alarm, WISN reported.
"Some of our more recent fire fatalities in Milwaukee and nationally result from firefighters going through floors because fire can present itself in wicked ways," he explained
The chief said the cause has not been determined.
