One person was transported to a hospital Friday morning after a crane toppled on I-70 near the Washington-Frederick County line.
Eastbound traffic will be detoured for some time as the investigation and cleanup continues, Maryland State Police reported.
Fire and rescue personnel from both counties responded to the incident.
