Clackamas Fire completed its investigation of the weekend blaze at a former Happy Valley fiberglass warehouse and concluded it most likely was intentionally set, the agency said on social media Sunday.

Firefighters battled the blaze at the Miles Fiberglass warehouse at 8855 S.E. Otty Road early Saturday morning. The fire started near the back of the building and quickly spread to the main structure, investigators determined.

The building, owned by Clackamas County Development Agency, was scheduled for demolition and had asbestos in it, officials said. This led to residents being evacuated from nearby apartment units.

Air tests in the area have been “generally reassuring,” according to a county press release Sunday. Definitive results from ash and debris testing are expected early this week.
