A Marion County firefighter seriously burned battling a moble home fire last month was released from the hospital this week 

Capt. Chris Trubelhorn, an 18-year veteran of the department, was saved by his crew when he was overrun by fire. 

He's been in the intensive care unit at Shands Hospital in Gainesville since Nov. 1, WESH reported. 

He suffered burns on his hands on his back, arms, upper chest, all over in his ears. He's had to go through 10 surgeries for skin grafts, said James Lucas with Marion County Fire Rescue. 

Trubelhorn still has a long road to recovery and be doing that from home.
