'Multiple' Deaths Reported as Powerful Blast Rocks TN Military Explosives Plant

At least 19 people are missing from the Humphrey County plant, emergency officials reported.

Multiple people are dead and nearly two dozen are missing following a powerful blast at a military exploosives plant in Bucksnorth.

The explosion shook homes miles away and sent heavy smoke into the air.

An official with Humphrey County Emergency Management said at least 19 are missing and multiple others have been hospitalized, according to WSMV. 

The incident occurred at Accurate Energetic Systems, LLC which, according to reports, “is dedicated to the development, manufacture, handling, and storage of high-quality energetic products utilized in both defense and commercial markets.”
