Man Arrested for Shooting at Fire Suppression Aircraft near Orr, MN
A man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly shot at a fire suppresstion aircraft at Kjostad Lake on Sunday.
The crew was not hurt in the incident that was discovered when the Air Tractor single-engine plane returned to the airport several hours later, WCCO reported.
The Portage Township resident was charged with reckless discharge of a firearm, second-degree assault and felony criminal damage to property.
Several firearms and ammunition were found when deputies executed a search warrant at the suspect's house.
