Pennsylvania Minivan Fire Knocked Down Before Causing Further Damage to Townhome

On Thursday, September 25, 2003 at 8:25 PM, Cetronia and Woodlawn Firefighters were dispatched to a reported vehicle fire next to a dwelling in South Whitehall Twp.
On Thursday, September 25, 2003 at 8:25 PM, Cetronia and Woodlawn Firefighters were dispatched to a reported vehicle fire next to a dwelling in South Whitehall Twp.
Lt. Jay Heicklen, Cetronia Fire Dept., a neighbor living on North 41st St. reported this as a working fire on arrival at the fire department.
Engine 312 responded, followed quickly by Engine 3212 (Woodlawn), as well as Engine 311, and Tower 331 (both Cetronia).
The crew of 312 found a "working" vehicle fire with flames impinging on the garage door of the townhouse.
Quick action by the 312 crew knocked the fire down and eliminated the danger to the dwelling.
