Canada Firefighters Respond to Structure Fire

More firefighters were called to the scene

On September 19, crews from the City of Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue were called to an eight-alarm fire in Ontario, Canada.

Firefighters arrived at 11 a.m. to find heavy smoke from the rear of the three-story historic brick building.

This department is composite and the two career firefighters had to call in part-timers on arrival.

The City of Kawartha Lakes is located 1.5 hours northeast of Toronto.
