A person of interest in a raging six-alarm blaze in a massive warehouse is in custody.

The employees in the approximately one-million-square-foot Kimberly-Clark building in Ontario escaped without injury when the fire was discovered about 12:30 a.m.

"At this point, we do have a subject of interest. That individual has been brought into custody, arrested, and taken to the police department. The individual is awaiting questioning by Ontario Police Department detectives..." Ontario Deputy Fire Chief Mike Woodell told KTLA.

Firefighters immediately called for additional resources as the fire was raging when they approached the area.

Paper products stored in the plant fueled the fire. Multiple ladder pipes were involved in the operation.

The operation and investigation continued late Tuesday morning.
