Cal Fire/Riverside County firefighters rescued six vehicle occupants after their vehicle flew off a cliff.
Cal Fire/Riverside County firefighters responded to Lamb’s Canyon after a vehicle with six passengers drove off a cliff, ejecting four.
"Due to steep conditions, firefighters utilized a low angle rope system to extricate the patients from the scene," the fire department said on Twitter.
All six of the injured were between ages 18 and 19 and fire officials said four of the people had "serious" injuries, Patch Banning-Beaumont reported.
Officials said three of the occupants were taken to Riverside University Health Systems Medical Center, the other occupants were transported to Loma Linda.
Police said the driver lost control of the vehicle while changing lanes on a rain-slicked roadway.
