The cab of a semi dangling off a bridge with the driver in a precarious position.
That's what Louisville firefighters and rescue technicans found Sunday morning -- again.
The rig was headed south on I-65 on the Kennedy Bridge when the crash occurred.
Utilizing a high point rope system, a firefighter was lowered into the cab where he found an alert driver, Louisville Fire Chief Brian O’Neil told WTHR.
As a precaution, he was transported to a hospital for a checkup.
O’Neil said this rescue was very similar to the one in March 2024 on the Clark Memorial Bridge which also was successful.
