A production worker at Acrisure Stadium who fell from the scoreboard Saturday night suffered serious injuries.
Pittsburgh fire and EMS crews lowered a Stokes basket and rigged a rope system to reach the man who landed on a catwalk after falling about 50 feet, KDKA reported.
He was transported to a hospital in critical injuries.
"A crew member installing production equipment suffered a fall," according to a statement.
Witnesses who watched the rescue reported seeing many "Sunday Night Football" broadcast crew members.
