Dallas Crews Rescue Man Trapped by Commuter Train

April 25, 2019
Airbags were used by Dallas firefighters to lift a DART train and pull out the victim who had been trapped underneath the car Wednesday night.

Firefighters pulled a man free after he was trapped under a DART train Wednesday night in Downtown Dallas.

The incident happened around 11 p.m. at the West End DART station in the 700 block of Pacific Avenue, officials said.

Firefighters used airbags to lift the train for enough clearance to remove the victim, who was taken to an area hospital in unknown condition and whose name was not released.
