Dallas Firefighters Hurt in Ambulance Crash

July 25 -- Two firefighters were hospitalized Wednesday after a crash involving an ambulance in Far East Dallas.
The crash was reported shortly before 10 a.m. when a car collided with the Dallas Fire-Rescue ambulance at Ferguson and Peavy roads, police said.
A patient in the ambulance was not hurt, but two firefighter/paramedics were taken to a hospital. Their injuries were not life-threatening, a Fire-Rescue spokesman said.
No further information was available.
