Car Crashes into OR Apartment, Traps Occupant

Gresham firefighters rescued the occupant who was trapped after a car crashed through the wall.

A car crashed into an apartment early Saturday morning, trapping one occupant and a dog inside, Gresham fire said.

According to a Twitter thread from the Gresham Firefighters account, firefighters responded to the crash at Northeast 17th Avenue and Northeast Kane Drive Saturday morning.

The car struck an occupant, trapping them inside, but firefighters quickly freed the victim. Three people were transported to a hospital. No information about their injuries has been released.

The firefighters also rescued the family dog from inside the apartment.
