A man, who had been pinned under a wall at a construction site, was removed by Canton firefighters and rescue technicians Monday.

The worker who was on his back spoke with his rescuers during the operation. Co-workers lifted the wall off him before firefighters arrived, Canton Fire Chief Wendell Robery told WCVB.

Crews immobilized and treated him before he was lowered to the ground by aerial ladder.

He was transported to a hospital with back and leg injuries.
