CINCINNATI, OH—After rescuing a woman trapped in a vehicle following a crash, firefighters turned into an impromptu delivery service.

The crash occurred Wednesday afternoon, knocking the woman’s vehicle onto its side, according to the fire department. Despite being trapped, the woman was not injured.

But after the crash, several firefighters helped collect groceries that were in the back of the vehicle. They then met the woman at her residence and took them up to her apartment, WCPO Channel 9 reports.

“Every day our fire companies do things like this,” Lt. Bill Feckter tells WCPO. “It’s not in our job description, but there are things, those things we enjoy doing, above and beyond our job scope.”
