Los Angeles firefighters rescued a man who was trapped inside an overturned pickup truck following a crash early Wednesday.
The accident happened shortly after 1 a.m. in the city's Granada Hills section, OnScene TV reports. The driver of a Dodge pickup truck lost control of the vehicle and struck two parked cars, with the impact of the crash flipping the truck onto one of the cars.
Firefighters used a variety of heavy equipment to cut out the man from the wreck. They eventually were able to cut back the windshield and free the driver.
The man was taken to the hospital with serious cuts to his head and face, according to OnScene TV. The crash is under investigation.
