First responders in East Los Angeles responded to a report of a crash on the 710 Freeway and found a vehicle that had gone off the road and into a right-side embankment.
ONSCENE TV said it is unclear if there were one or two people in the vehicle, but at least one person was trapped.
It took firefighters approximately 15 minutes to extricate the patient from the mangled car.
FOX 11 reports that one person is hospitalized after the violent crash which happened around 1:30 a.m. near Whittier Boulevard in East LA.
