Watch: Firefighters Rescue Man Who Falls Through Vista, CA, Balcony

Vista firefighters rescued a man who fell through a porch floor, using a quick rope system to extricate him.

Firefighters extricated a man after he partially fell through a porch floor in Vista last week.

Vista firefighters were called to the Arcadia Avenue apartment building on June 16, just before 7 p.m., and found a man who had fallen through his balcony and was trapped, with his legs dangling into the porch below.

Crews rigged up a quick rope system to remove the man, according to ONSCENE TV.

Once removed, Vista firefighters packaged the patient and transported him to the hospital for treatment.
