A Portland firefighter called a 'Mayday' after falling through a floor Wednesday morning.
A RIT team went into the basement from the outside and helped him find his way out, according to KTPV.
He received treatment at the scene but was not transported.
A neighbor said they smelled smoke for about an hour before the fire was reported. There was no one home.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
