With firefighters facing diesel exhaust exposure, which is a major contibutor to long-term illness in the fire service, Plymovent developed the site to better connect departments with the tool and knowledge needed to protect their crews and decrease exposure.
The offerings the new website have are:
- Service and maintenance support: Easy access to service resources.
- Community hub: Insight from fire chiefs across the United States.
- Vehicle exhaust extraction solutions: Detailed information on Plymovent's systems designed to remove diesel exhaust.
In order to improve firefighter health and safety, Plymovent is pleased to work with organizations listed in the "Partners in Protecting Our Heroes" section, such as Crackyl Magazine, the National Volunteer Firefighter Council, Firehouse.com, Science to the Station, Brothers Helping Brothers and the Firefighter Cancer Support Networks.
Plymovent has spent decades using its engineering know-how and high-performance exhaust extraction systems to protect firefighters from airborne pollutants. The introduction of fire.plymovent.com demonstrates this dedication to offering a cutting-edge, user-friendly platform that is solely focused on the fire service.
"Firefighter shouldn't have to worry about the air they breathe in the station, said Aaron Stewart, North American exhaust extraction manager. "This new platform is about giving departments the knowledge, support and solutions they need to protect their crews every day."
