Nov. 10, 2021
Dallas firefighter Ron Hall, who suffered burns to 40 percent of his body and a broken leg in a September gas explosion, is out of the hospital.

Dallas firefighter Ronald Hall was released from Zale Lipshy Pavilion rehabilitation center after being injured in a natural gas explosion in September.

Hall was one of four firefighters injured in the blast, three of them critically, while they investigated a reported natural gas leak at an apartment complex.

While on the road to recovery, Hall still has more work to do and will continue his rehabilitation at home. In a Facebook post, Dallas Fire- Rescue thanked the Zalelipshy and Parkland hospitals for the care they provided and asked for continued support for Hall and his colleagues.

Capt. Chris Gadomski also suffered multiple serious injuries in the explosion and was released from an ICU in late October. Firefighter Pauline Perez sustained burn injuries and was released from the hospital on Oct. 15.
