TX Fire Captain Final Member to be Discharged after Explosion

The final Dallas firefighter hospitalized in a September natural gas explosion was released from a rehabilitation center Friday.

Capt. Chris Gadomski is one of three firefighters seriously injured who required long-term hospitalization and rehabilitation.  

Gadomski suffered severe burns on his body and injuries to both of his legs requiring stays in a burn ICU unit before being transfered to a rehabilitation center.

In a Facebook post, the department thanked the staff at Zale Lipshy and Parkland Hospital Parkland Burn Center for all their efforts assisting in his recovery. 

Gadomski still has a long road ahead of him, the department shared and asked that you to keep him in your thoughts.
