A San Bernardino County Fire Department engine was struck while blocking at an accident scene in the City of Upland Wednesday night.
While crews were working the accident scene, a secondary accident occurred with Medic Engine 12 being struck and the vehicle narrowly missing a firefighter and police officer, according to a Facebook post by San Bernardino County Fire Department.
Crews working the scene quickly evaluated those involved in the new accident and found there were no injuries.
Medic Engine 12 sustained minor damage but was successful and providing a safety barrier to ensure a safe work environment.
