A Lancaster firefighter was injured after falling more than 10 feet through a skylight while battling a dwelling fire.

The Lancaster Fire Department was called to the 500 block of North Mary Street Monday evening for a reported fire.

While firefighters were performing roof operations, one firefighter fell through a skylight landing on the floor below, according to a report by Fox 43.

The firefighter sustained an arm injury and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
