One firefighter was hit in the face, while another suffered an injured arm when he was hit by a vehicle as he got out of the fire truck.

A Baltimore County woman was arrested Wednesday for shooting a BB gun at a Baltimore firefighter.

WBAL reported Alysha Williams, 20, of Catonsville, was charged with multiple counts of first-and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and discharging a BB gun.

She was arrested by Maryland State Police and federal agents.

One of the firefighters, who was working on a patient, was hit by the pellets, and another suffered an injured arm when he was hit by the car as he got out of the fire truck.

"They're both recovering. I'm sure it's going to take a little bit. It's also a lot of stress on them, you know, you don't expect to come to work and have to deal with that," Richard Langford, president of the Baltimore Firefighters Local 734, told reporters.

Baltimore City Assistant Fire Chief Roman Clark said that in his 45 years in the department, he has never seen a situation like this.

"Someone sticking or pointing a gun at someone, I believe, I would've panicked myself," he said.
