South Bound Brook, NJ, Deputy Chief Dies After Responding to Incident

Firefighters in South Bound Brook are mourning the loss of one of their officers.
Deputy Fire Chief Craig M. Konkle, 54, died hours after he responded to a wreck with fellow firefighters, according to My Central Jersey.
Konkle had been with the department since 2013.
Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday.
