Just weeks after Timber Mesa Fire and Medical District lost two firefighters in a head-on ambulance crash, an off-duty firefighter was killed in a motorcycle crash.

Responders were called to Lone Damn Pine Road near Show Low around 6:45 a.m. Friday where they found a collision between a motorcycle and truck.

Firefighter EMT Glenn Collins, 46, sustained fatal injuries in the crash, the fire district shared on Facebook

“Firefighter EMT Glenn Collins has proudly served Timber Mesa for the past seven years. He was respected by his peers for his dedication to the fire service, his professionalism, and his commitment to helping others. His absence will be deeply felt," a statement from the fire district read.

Firefighters Brenna Kulikowski, 31, and Damon Thompson, 21, were among three killed when their ambulance was involved in a head-on collision on State Road 20 early on Sept. 14. They were returning to the station from the hospital when the crash happened.

The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office and Arizona Department of Public Safety are investigating Friday's collision.

"As our district and community face yet another unimaginable tragedy, we are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support shown to our fire family," the fire district shared.
