MEIKO Protect Launches Fire Department Grant Assistance Program
Fire departments now have access to more than 3,600 grant opportunities from corporations, charities, foundations and community organizations as well as individualized coaching thanks to a new partnership with Dynamic International.
“Fire departments are facing increasing demands to modernize their PPE care and decontamination processes, but many lack the time or resources to navigate complex grant systems,” said Bjorn Rowland, director of sales for MEIKO Protect North America. “This program removes those barriers by providing direct, hands-on support at no cost, helping departments secure the funding they need to protect their firefighters.”
Each department receives one-on-one assistance from Dynamic International to determine their needs, match them with the best funding sources and assist them with every stage of the application process. "Their simple step-by-step approach makes applications easy to complete, even for departments with no prior grant experience," according to the program materials.
High-impact, easily accessible financing options that give departments a competitive edge are the main emphasis of the MEIKO Grant Assistance Program. The program handbook states that departments gain from:
- “Less competition than federal grants”
- “Short applications (3–4 pages)”
- “Fast funding cycles (30–90 days)”
- “Opportunities year-round”
MEIKO Protect is dedicated to promoting safer, more reliable, and more efficient gear-care systems as fire departments continue to place a high priority on station hygiene, PPE decontamination and firefighter cancer prevention. By assisting departments in obtaining the funding required to establish cutting-edge, compliant and repeatable cleaning procedures, the Grant Assistance Program enhances that goal.
Departments interested in participating can contact Jamie Little, MEIKO Protect Regional Sales Manager, at 615-693-4407 or [email protected] to begin the grant discovery process.
