2026 NVFC, DripDrop Hydration Giveback Campaign Entry Period Open

The DripDrop Hydration Giveback Campaign, in collaboration with the NVFC, aims to supply volunteer fire departments across the U.S. with hydration resources to prevent heat-related injuries.

Through the DripDrop Hydration Giveback Campaign, DripDrop Hydration is once again collaborating with the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) to keep firefighters hydrated and prepared to respond during summer heat and wildfire season. This year, volunteer fire departments will receive 200,000 sticks of DripDrop electrolyte drink mix. The deadline for entries is now June 30 at 12:00 p.m. EST.

Firefighters endure bulky gear and carry heavy equipment while working in hot, stressful conditions. This can result in heat-related injuries and dehydration if the right safety measures aren't taken. Responders can perform at their peak both physically and emotionally using DripDrop, a quick, tried-and-true hydration solution that instantly replenishes lost fluids and electrolytes.

“We are thrilled to partner with DripDrop to ensure volunteer fire departments have the resources they need to keep their responders hydrated and prevent heat-related illness and injury,” said NVFC Chair Steve Hirsch. “This program is making a difference for our boots on the ground responders and the communities they serve. We thank DripDrop for their continued support of our nation’s fire service.”

“We’re proud to partner with the National Volunteer Fire Council for a seventh consecutive year in support of volunteer fire departments nationwide,” said John Shea, chief marketing officer at DripDrop Hydration. “Earning the confidence of firefighters across the country to rely on DripDrop when they need it the most is truly meaningful to us, and we’re honored to help fuel the critical work they do to keep their communities protected.”

Depending on the size of the department, one or two cases of DripDrop electrolyte powder will be given to the chosen departments. A product gift will be given to at least 1,000 departments. Departments must fulfill the following requirements in order to be admitted:

  • At least one member of the department must be an active member of the NVFC. Member name and email address used for NVFC portal login must be provided. If you don’t know your member status, click here to find out. Learn about member benefits and join here.
  • The department must be over 50% volunteer; paid on-call is considered volunteer.
  • The department must be located in the U.S. and legally organized under state law.
  • A physical address must be provided for shipping; product cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes. Entries with a P.O. Box will be disqualified.
  • Recipients must use the donation for the benefit of their department and not for any other purpose; cannot be resold.
  • Recipients agree that their department name, details from application, and photo may be used in media by DripDrop and the NVFC for the purposes of promoting the program.
  • Only one application will be accepted per department; any subsequent applications received for that department are ineligible.
  • Please note: Priority consideration will be given to departments that did not receive a donation in 2025 and respond to wildfires.

The application period closes at 12 p.m. EST on June 30. Enter at https://dripdrop.com/pages/nvfc-2026.
