Streamlight Releases LiteBox 1Million, Long-Range Search Light

The LiteBox 1Million by Streamlight is a durable, rechargeable scene light offering over one mile of beam distance, ideal for emergency and firefighting scenes.

The greatest long-range search light, the LiteBox 1Million, was introduced by Streamlight. The LiteBox 1Million, designed for demanding professional applications, can deliver one million candela over a beam distance of more than one mile.Compared to its predecessor, the HID LiteBox, this durable, rechargeable, next-generation scene light is smaller and lighter. It is compatible with current LiteBox accessories and has been updated to meet contemporary technological standards.

In addition to providing wide peripheral illumination for scene lighting applications, the fully portable search light delivers a strong, long-range beam that can highlight objects more than 1.25 miles away. The light is ideal for long-distance outdoor navigation, boating and maritime applications, perimeter scanning, utility and industrial inspections, firefighting and other emergency response duties. Its articulating head rotates 270 degrees and pivots 135 degrees, allowing for precise placement on difficult-to-reach or lofty targets like power lines and high-rise buildings, enhancing situational awareness in challenging circumstances.

The long-range beam and ultra-bright light of the LiteBox 1Million are produced by a deep dish parabolic reflector and three white high power LEDs. On high, the light produces 3,300 lumens, 1 million candela and a 4-hour run time; on low, it produces 500 lumens, 175,000 candela and a 20-hour run time.

“The LiteBox 1Million provides outstanding reach, powerful brightness, portability and extended operation to help first responders, industrial crews and other professionals illuminate accident or fire scenes, roads or job sites,” said Streamlight President Michael F. Dineen. “It’s built tough, keeping the rugged performance users expect, and it seamlessly integrates with the LiteBox charger ecosystem.”

Two 7.2 volt, 6.8 amp Li-Ion battery packs, which may be recharged up to 500 times, power the scene light. An easy-to-use red/green battery status indicator is included into the light's translucent boot switch, and it flashes red when the battery has 15 minutes or less left. With the included power supplies, the scene light recharges completely in nine hours.

The LiteBox 1Million measures 12.5 inches in length, 6.8 inches high and weighs 7.0 pounds with battery. Other features include:

  • Weatherproof, high-impact ABS thermoplastic housing
  • Cushioned grip handle
  • Reinforced D-rings for attaching the included heavy-duty shoulder strap
  • Vehicle Mount System
  • Available in Orange

The LiteBox 1Million has an MSRP that ranges from $659.00 to $715.00 depending on the configuration. Each comes with Streamlight’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.
