Streamlight Debuts ProTac 2.0 Ducks Unlimited Headlamp
The ProTac 2.0 Ducks Unlimited headlamp, a limited-edition, co-branded rechargeable headlamp intended for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts and anybody else in need of dependable, hands-free lighting in low-light conditions, was announced by Streamlight.
The Ducks Unlimited edition, which has the same high-performance features as Streamlight's ProTac 2.0 Headlamp, has a Desert Tan finish, a custom Ducks Unlimited elastic head strap, a green filter for improved visibility in outdoor settings, Streamlight's SL-B50 rechargeable battery pack that charges directly via an included USB-C charging cord and a complimentary trial membership to Ducks Unlimited.
“Ducks Unlimited is proud to partner with Streamlight, offering an exclusive co-branded headlamp built to withstand the harsh elements waterfowl hunters endure," Jeremy Smith, who is Ducks Unlimited’s senior director of corporate relations, said. "A portion of every sale directly benefits DU’s wetlands conservation efforts to ensure waterfowl for future generations.”
To accommodate a variety of lighting requirements, the ProTac 2.0 Ducks Unlimited headlamp has three output settings. It provides 2,000 lumens, 14,500 candela, a beam distance of 241 meters and a run time of 2 1/4 hours when on High. Medium has a 130-meter beam distance, 4,200 candela, 650 lumens and a 4 1/2-hour run time. Low provides a beam distance of 55 meters, 110 lumens, 750 candela and a maximum run time of 25 hours.
Users can select from three operating programs (High/Medium/Low; High Only; Low/High) to suit their tastes thanks to the headlamp's TEN-TAP programming from Streamlight. It can be turned on momentarily or continuously with its one-handed push-button switch.
"The ProTac 2.0 Ducks Unlimited headlamp combines Streamlight's proven lighting technology with a design that reflects the heritage and passion of Ducks Unlimited supporters," said Allen Lance, Streamlight's vice president of sales. "Users will appreciate its powerful output, rechargeable convenience, and dependable durability."
The light's sliding sleeve provides access to a 4,900mAh Lithium Ion USB rechargeable battery that powers the SL-B50 Streamlight. Its LED status lights, which are green when completely charged and red when charging, are used to show the charging state.
The headlamp weighs 10.48 ounces with the battery and is 4.92 inches long. Its IP64-rated dust-tight rating, 2-meter water-resistant design, 2-meter impact resistance, and sturdy aluminum construction guarantee dependable performance in demanding outdoor and work settings.
The ProTac 2.0 Ducks Unlimited headlamp is covered by Streamlight's Limited Lifetime Warranty and retails for $229.60.
