Inspirational IN Firefighter Back on Job after Amputation

Fishers firefighter Brandon Anderson is back on the job after having his leg amputated last year.

Fishers firefighter Brandon Anderson decided to have his right leg amputated after it was mangled in a motorcycle accident last summer because it gave him the best chance to resume his career. Now after 11 months of hard work and training, he is back to working full-time for the Fishers Fire Department. He is the only firefighter in the country to have returned to the job with an above-the-knee prosthetic.
