Dallas Fire-Rescue will soon begin rolling out a new program to help its personnel seek treatment for mental health issues such as PTSD.

“We’ve seen a number of struggles related to PTSD, some substance abuse issues in the organization and a lot of stressors,” said DFR Chief David Coatney, who says development of the program began last year.
