KY Firefighter Hurt in Apparatus Crash

A Kentucky firefighter was injured in an apparatus crash while responding to a call about a downed power line over the weekend.

The Bell County firefighter suffered minor injuries when a fire apparatus hit another vehicle Sunday night in Colmar, WLEX-TV reports. The apparatus, which had its lights and sirens on at the time of the accident, was damaged when it was sent 50 feet into a ditch by the collision.
