Doctor Recalls Treating FFs Burned in Los Angeles Explosion

Less than an hour after a group of Los Angeles firefighters were engulfed in a ball of flames at a downtown blaze two weeks ago, Dr. Justin Gillenwater was at the hospital.

Gillenwater, the medical director of the Southern California Regional Burn Center at LAC+USC Medical Center, was leading the efforts to treat 11 firefighters who were burned, including four who were listed in critical condition.
