Police are looking for a man they say waved a gun at Virginia Beach firefighters

According to WAVY, the incident occurred on Saturday when crews from VBFD Engine 18 responded to an emergency call.

First, a man in a gold Acura almost crashed into the apparatus, then, he allegedly drove up next to the engine and waved a semi-automatic pistol at the crew.

While attempting to cross Indian River Road at Indian Lakes boulevard, the crew was almost struck by a gold Acura.

The crew later saw the suspect at the Wawa on Ferrell Parkway and were able to take a picture of him and his vehicle.

WAVY says those with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-888-LOCK-U-UP, downloading the P3 tips app to a mobile device, or visiting www.P3tips.com and submitting a tip.
